A LETTER TO THE CEO, YWCA EL PASO

Dear Sylvia:I was deeply moved when I heard your plea for support at NAYE for immigrant women and children.Recognizing that the YWCA historically has supported women and children when they felt most vulnerable, I felt compelled to respond in some way. I appealed to our staff, our friends, and our community for personal hygiene items that would assist women and their children.We here in Northwest Ohio are responding to women and children fleeing violence and deprivation in their home countries.On this Valentine’s Day, when we acknowledge matters of the heart, please accept our contribution to a cause that knows no geographic or political boundaries.
