National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) has finally arrived and it’s not too late to participate!
Over the past year, we’ve seen firsthand how registering people to vote creates a stronger, more representative America.
That’s why YWCA is spreading the word about the importance of checking your voter registration and making sure others are #VoteReady.
We have one goal in mind:
MAKE SURE EVERY AMERICAN IS ABLE TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE
Here’s how you can help:
• Visit the National Voter Registration Day website to check your voter registration and for more information on how to register to yourself, your family, friends, and your community to vote.
• Follow @YWCAUSA on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn or search #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, #VoteReady, or #NVRD on social media to engage in the conversation and help promote voter registration in your community.
• For informative, shareable content you can also review the NVRD social media toolkit for graphics and post like this:
• Did you know one in four people aren’t registered to vote! We’re sure you’ll agree with us when we say that number is TOO HIGH. If you are not yet registered, what are you waiting for? It only takes two minutes! Visit https://bit.ly/2EDwKgv and get #VoteReady TODAY!
Now is the time to make sure millions of voters have a voice in the 2021 local elections.
Join us and get #VoteReady to ensure your vote counts!
