Supporting Partners and Collaborations

The YWCA’s DVS actively participates with local organizations to strengthen the communities’ continuum of care which collectively addresses system barriers to safety for survivors, and alleviate gaps in the service provision for survivors and their children. We coordinate with Lucas County Children Services, the DV Task Force, Lucas County Court of Common Please (Domestic Violence Resource Center Coordinator), Lucas County Sheriff’s Department DV Unit, Bethany House, Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, DART Office, Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center, Naomi House, Chrysalis. CTF, Volunteers of America, Adelante, The Lucas County Jail, The Frederick Douglas Center, University of Toledo, Owens Community College, Bowling Green State University, Toledo Public Schools, and  a number of Faith Based Organizations in the community.
